Hey everyone,
My name is Dylan DeNicola, and I recently joined the MilkyWay@home project as a Project Developer and Project Tester, so I wanted to introduce myself. I'm currently an undergraduate sophomore at RPI, and I'm working towards a computer science major. I plan on working on the development of the BOINC software for the project, and for now, I will be working on updating the server to the latest version of BOINC, getting our GitHub repos up to date, and doing general bug fixes. It's a pleasure meeting all of you, and I look forward to contributing to this project!

On 25 Jan from 12.00 to 16:00 there is a scheduled power off in my city due to electrical maintenance in the area.

So far the battery power supply of server handles up to 3h of blackout, so it is not know if it can stay up for 4h, but I hope so.

However, even if the server is on, it will be not reachable from the network as all net devices of the area will be powered off during that time.

Были проблемы с экспортом статистики две недели с начала года.

Looks like a broken RAM / hardware crashed the hole server, the downtime was 15h. I have moved the VM to my old server, this was stable but have now some errors in Linux, if you fix something another error appears. The win log still telling me broken hardware but need to take time to maybe reinstall OS, testing RAM etc.

You will now getting a lot of download errors because the input files were deleted while the WU was already finished. Around 1h after my last backup yesterday the server seems to be crashed.

Iam thinking about to let the BOINC VM on the old server, no updates (except firewall), less OS crash impacts but slower.

Apologies for the outage.
